CE 527 Field Trips and Final Jeopardy

For CE 527 Sustainable Mobility we have had several great field trips during Spring 2016. First, Eugene Jud led us on a bus/walking tour of downtown SLO, then we visited Morro Bay and Los Osos to experience a roundabout and traffic calming, and finally we were hosted by the City of Paso Robles for a tour of their two "green streets." Very inspiring and excellent examples of sustainable mobility here in SLO County! We also conducted our final Jeopardy match to celebrate the end of the quarter. Thanks to Travis and Zach for preparing the game!

Gabe Klein Guest Lecture to Sustainable Mobility Class

On April 29, 2016 Gabe Klein, author of Start-Up City, provided a fantastic guest lecture to the CE 527 Sustainable Mobility class (via Skype). The students are using the book as the course text, and were inspired by the opportunity to talk directly with the author!

Guest Lecture CRP 530

I always enjoy this experience and enjoy sharing some of my lessons learned over my career, particularly the opportunity to describe my experiences at U.S. DOT. My presentation is titled: "Adventures in Federal Transportation Agency Leadership."
