It was great to participate in the Automated Vehicles Symposium 2014 in San Francisco July 15-16, 2014. I had the opportunity to participate in the breakout sessions on
Roadway Traffic Management and Operations with Automated Vehicles, which resulted in some lively and thoughtful discussions about the future of transportation systems with increasing levels of automation and cooperative systems.
